FAQ  

Check these out before contacting us, as there maybe answers here you don’t have to wait for :)
 

How much do you charge?
Your event is specific to you, so our prices vary, but we start from £450.00. Check out What We Offer.

How do we book you?
Fill out our Contact Form. We will then check our availabilty and get back to you usually within 3 days.

Do we need to pay a deposit?
We take a 20% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due one week before the event.
Please let us know when you’ve sent the deposit, so we can confirm your booking!

How far do you travel?
Predominatly, most of our shows are in and around Essex, but we have travelled across the UK and abroad for events. If your event is abroad, all
travel logistics will be arranged & booked by us for your ease. If your event requires additional travel fees, this will cover van hire, fuel and tolls, and will be given a bespoke quote.

Do you play public shows?
We do occasionaly play public shows, which are listed on here and on our socials (Facebook & Instagram). These are great opportunities for you to see us, hear us and chat about your event.

What happens if one of you is ill / unable to perform?
In the unlikely event of one of us being unable to play, we do have musicians that can play our set, and we’ll always do our best to arrange cover!

Are you insured / PAT tested?
Yep! Once you’re booked, we can send you our certificates if you or your venue require them.

What gear do you have?
To list all our gear would be lengthy, but we come with full PA sufficient for large venues, and stage lighting. You can see some of the
gear in our photos on here and instagram!
*Please note our PA
cannot be shared with other acts or DJ’s.

Can you roam?
Due to gear, we can’t roam, nor are we able to set up in multiple places for sets.

Can we use your mics and PA for speeches?
Unfortunately this isn’t a service we offer.

How much space do you need?
We can condense nice and tight if needed depending on the set up (Reception drinks or Evening), but a 3M x 3M stage/space is the biggest we’d ever need. Check out our photos to help
give you an idea.


How long do you play for?
It varies! The most common sets for weddings are: 2 x 45 minutes for afternoon drinks and 3 x 40 minutes for evening reception.

Do you play music in your breaks?
Yes! We’ll never let the room go silent - dead air is a crime. We use a spotify playlist (yours or ours) in our breaks. If you have prepared your own playlist, please make sure
the link is with us one week before your event.

What is ‘Playback’?
This is a term we use for ‘playing a Spotify playlist/ pre recorded music through our PA’ . For example, playback would occur during our break / at the end of the night.


How long does it take to set up / When will you arrive?
As soon as we have the time you want us to start, we’ll let you know, but usually its 90 minutes. . This may differ depending on venue accessibilty (e.g City venues, long load ins)

Are noise limiters an issue?
We’d be lying if we said we love them - but we always make it work.

Can you play our first dance?
If asked, we will try to learn a first dance for you. It isn’t always possible though, depending on the song in question, due to our
limitations with instruments. (Garage, Rap or 1940’s Swing band probably wont work..)

Why can’t I find a phone number to call you on?
By keeping everything on email, both parties can refer to exact messages to save confusion.
It’s also tricky to talk to every client!
